Dr. Callaway opened Callaway Orthodontics March 23, 2000. He has been fortunate enough to see over 8000 patients in that time and enjoys calling his patients his friends. Dr. Callaway treats every single patient the way he would want his family treated. His goal is to provide you with a beautiful smile that will last a lifetime. He realizes that everyone’s teeth and goals are different and works hard to customize a treatment plan specifically for you.
Over the course of his career he has kept up with technology and evaluated all the new orthodontic appliances and systems on the market today. His current favorite is Incognito, which are customized gold brackets on the back of the teeth. Wires are custom bent by a robot and each bracket is custom made for your individual tooth. Please feel free to check it out at www.incognito.com. He also uses the latest technology in braces on the front of the teeth, utilizing self ligating brackets. For the cosmetically minded who only need minor corrections, Dr. Callaway will sometimes recommend Invisalign, www.invisalign.com. Putting together individual treatment plans and using the correct appliances has allowed us to completely correct smiles with an average number of visits well below normal. Dr. Callaway understands the time associated with office visits and strives to reduce the number of times you have to miss work or school. He also plans his schedule so that you should not have to wait when you come to our office.
As is evident from our offices, Dr. Callaway is a big sports fan and thinks of his staff as vital members of the Smile Design Team. As a Team our goal is to customize your treatment to give you the best treatment possible in the friendliest of atmospheres.
Dr. Callaway married Emily Anne Magee, May 19th, 2008. They have been blessed with three healthy children, Campbell, Swayze, and Sawyer. When Dr. Callaway is not working he enjoys teaching Campbell how to drive the tractor or swing a golf club. At 9 months old, Swayze just likes riding around in Daddy’s lap. Don’t be surprised if you them around the office. Just stay clear of Campbell when he has the water syringe in his hand!
We hope this information has given you some insight into our practice and we look forward to a long friendship.
